What turbine interior cleaning actually involves
Across every one of these applications the task has the same shape: get inside a confined, humid, coated space and remove biological contamination without harming the surfaces or the people doing the work. The environment changes; the requirement does not.
Nacelle cleaning is the hardest version of it. Equipment heat, grease and six-month maintenance gaps concentrate mould and biofilm in the one space technicians spend the most time in. Tower interiors, transition pieces and hubs share the same drivers with different salt loads and access constraints. What stays constant is the need for a coating-safe, confined-space-safe antimicrobial rather than a solvent that was never designed for the job.
